John Ewing: The Early Years
Kim Ann Pfau made this little film during the first reelate workshop. While she'd been quite a film fan her whole life, when she decided to make her own film, she had no idea how much work, collaboration, championing (and more work!) it would take. But not only did she get the opportunity to tell a small part of John Ewing's story (a hero of hers), but she also got to see the film play at several film festivals. It's finally settling into it's long-term home here at Reelate.
Even though John Ewing hasn't lived in Canton for many years, his roots are here and the beginning of his own important career in film curation begin here and impacted the memories of many film fans that still look back fondly on the great films he screened while in Canton.
